Kathy Elson - West Texas Totes (Cowboy Boot Purses and Belts)
Kathy holds the patent on making incredibly beautiful purses from used cowboy boots. Each purse is unique, numbered and noted as to the brand of boots used to create it. Kathy started her business after a friend came to her with a request. Her father had died and her mother was left with a cherished pair of his cowboy boots. The friend asked Kathy if there was something that could be done to preserve the boots so her mother could keep them close to her. Kathy's friend was able to present her mother with a beautiful and unique keepsake in the form of a purse.
Eslinn+Suzu Jewelry (Leather/Sterling Silver/Swarovski Crystals)
As children these sisters were inseperable. When they were 10 and 13 their mother died. The changes that resulted eventually tore the two of them apart with Eslinn going to Europe for school. The two sisters did not speak or see each other for 25 years until the wonders of modern media brought them back together. During those years apart, Suzu had found a voice through her jewelry creations. In the joy of reconnecting with her sister, she dedicates her leather jewelry creations to her sister and the memory of their mother.

This little company sits in the hills of Turkey and produces some of the finest handmade products we have ever seen. Their pieces are all made from lambskin, lovingly produced, softer than anything you've ever touched. They use a color palette that goes from Sand (a metallic cream) to Creased Red to Antrasit (a rich dark charcoal) that can't be matched anywhere else. Since they make everything by hand, special orders, unusual sizes and unusual color requests are available within just a few weeks.
